We're challenging ourselves to live on just 25 litres of water per day for the month of March to promote water awareness. Show your support by making a pledge today to reduce your own water use. Can you take the Challenge?
Want a presentation about water conservation?
The Water Conservation Challenge offers presentation opportunities for your school or community group about water conservation. Hear about the difficulties posed to someone severely limiting their water use and expose your group to fascinating water issues of the day. Currently presentations are available in Winnipeg and can range in length from half an hour to 75 minutes. Send us a message through the Make a Pledge page with your contact info and any questions.
Water is everywhere! It's unlimited too, right?
Only 2.59% of all the water on Earth is freshwater, of that, less than 1% is easily accessible in rivers, lakes and streams. Most freshwater is either groundwater or trapped in glaciers. That leaves only about 0.02% of the water around us for drinking water. It is truly a limited resource, one that is becoming more scarce the more we use and pollute it. Conserving a little can go a long way! Start by knocking 25 litres off your daily use this March!
Clean water tapped directly to

Pledge to reduce your daily water use
So here is the deal: we try to live on 25 litres of water or less per day for an entire month and all we ask in return is for you to pledge to reduce your daily water use by 25 litres or more per day for the next 31 days. It's easy, fun and really adds up! In 2010 our supporters pledged more than 170,000 litres to campaigners, help us shatter that number in 2011!
